Bulgaria's registry is document-driven in a way most of Europe no longer is. Register.BG requires supporting documents in Bulgarian or English, or a licensed translation into one of those two working languages, and a company registered abroad has to authorise a third party who meets the requirements applying to local entities. Since 1 September 2024 an applicant may hold at most 40 pending registration requests and 40 waiting-list entries. No registrar we track sells .bg, and given the paperwork the registry's own channel is where this starts.
