Short answer
We don't require an account. We don't sell data. We use Google Analytics with anonymized IPs only when you click Allow analytics in the bottom-right dialog. Until you do, no tracking scripts load.
What loads by default
- Static pages, the Inter font (via Google Fonts), and the data files this site publishes.
- No third-party tracking. No advertising cookies. No fingerprinting.
What loads only after you click “Allow analytics”
- Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) with anonymize_ip: true — measures aggregate page popularity, referrers, and exit clicks.
- No Google Ads, no remarketing audiences, no advertising features.
What we store on your device
- localStorage['bdr-consent'] — one string, either accepted or declined. Used so the consent dialog only appears once.
- If you accept analytics, Google Analytics will set its own first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*).
Change your mind
To re-open the consent dialog, click Manage analytics in the site footer, or clear the bdr-consent key from this site's localStorage in your browser developer tools.
Data we publish about registrars
Where we have verified pricing for a registrar, we cite the source URL we read on the registrar's page along with a last-checked date. Where data is still placeholder/sample data, the page shows a visible Preview data notice. See the methodology for how we score and the editorial policy for how affiliate relationships are handled.
