Shellrent

Can a member of the public buy a .it here?

Its own page offers .it through a Italian storefront, but on 2026-09-29 it printed no .it price with its VAT treatment that this site could read, so it is listed on the Italy page as read and not ranked.

What its page printed

TLD table: .it PROMO Registrazione € 4,90, Rinnovo € 12,99, Trasferimento € 4,90; the '+IVA/ANNO' wording on the page belongs to add-on services, not to the domain table.

Read from https://www.shellrent.com/registrazione-dominio/ on 2026-09-29. A storefront read establishes the language, the currency and the figure the page printed that day. It does not establish support quality, uptime or what a renewal will cost next year.

How the Italy storefronts were read

Registro.it's list of 893 accredited registrars was read in full on 2026-09-29 (36 result pages, with each registrar's own page for its website); the list prints registrar handles such as ARUBA-REG, not company names. Ten storefronts from it plus the IONOS, Hostinger and GoDaddy Italian storefronts were opened in a real browser: Netsons and GoDaddy returned HTTP 403, Serverplan printed no .it price, and Gandi's /it/ address served an English page priced for France. Four pages printed a .it price in euros with its tax treatment, all + IVA; Aruba, Register.it, Keliweb, Shellrent and DominiOK print .it figures without tax wording or without a regular price. On 2026-10-15 the remaining 818 registrars on Registro .it's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 652 were read, 166 could not be, and 8 more print a comparable .it price.
