What its page printed

"Register a .nz domain $43.95 / year NZD excl GST".

Read from https://www.enlightendomains.co.nz/ on 2026-09-29. A storefront read establishes the language, the currency and the figure the page printed that day. It does not establish support quality, uptime or what a renewal will cost next year.

How the New Zealand storefronts were read

The DNC list of .nz authorised registrars (42 names) was read on 2026-09-29, and 11 storefronts from it were opened. Crazy Domains returned a bot wall, Moreweb 502, and Kiwi Internet 404 then a timeout; 123 Internet, Website World and Affordable Domains printed no .nz figure, and Porkbun showed a bare "$". Four stores print a standing .nz price in New Zealand dollars excluding 15% GST. On 2026-10-14 the remaining 29 registrars on DNC's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 28 were read, 1 could not be, and 0 more print a comparable .nz price.

FAQ

Is Enlighten Domains accredited to sell .nz?

Yes. Enlighten Domains is on the accredited-registrar list Domain Name Commission publishes, read on 2026-09-29. Accreditation means the registry permits it to sell the namespace; it does not by itself mean the registrar retails .nz to the public, which is what the storefront read establishes.

What does Enlighten Domains charge for a .nz domain?

On 2026-09-29 its own page printed NZD 50.54 incl. VAT, computed from NZD 43.95 ex. VAT. That is the registrar's quote on one date, with the VAT treatment the page stated, not a price this site verified through its pricing pipeline.

Has this site tested Enlighten Domains?

No. We have run no support test, no transfer test and no uptime measurement on Enlighten Domains, so it carries no score and appears in no quality ranking. The .nz ranking on the New Zealand page orders registrars by one printed price only.
