Moreweb NZ

.nz registrar in New Zealand, read from its own storefront on 2026-10-20

Can a member of the public buy a .nz here?

Its own page offers .nz through a English storefront, but on 2026-10-20 it printed no .nz price with its VAT treatment that this site could read, so it is listed on the New Zealand page as read and not ranked.

Why it is not ranked

The page prints .nz at $38.00 but states no tax treatment, so it cannot be set beside the VAT-inclusive prices.

What its page printed

"Domain Name .nz $38.00"; no period and no GST wording.

How the New Zealand storefronts were read

The DNC list of .nz authorised registrars (42 names) was read on 2026-09-29, and 11 storefronts from it were opened. Crazy Domains returned a bot wall, Moreweb 502, and Kiwi Internet 404 then a timeout; 123 Internet, Website World and Affordable Domains printed no .nz figure, and Porkbun showed a bare "$". Four stores print a standing .nz price in New Zealand dollars excluding 15% GST. On 2026-10-14 the remaining 29 registrars on DNC's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 28 were read, 1 could not be, and 0 more print a comparable .nz price. On 2026-10-20/21 the 4 storefronts that could not be read were opened again in a browser that waits longer for pages built by script, reads framed pages and follows a redirect from plain http to https: 2 were read this time, 2 still could not be, and none of those read prints a comparable .nz price.

FAQ

Is Moreweb NZ accredited to sell .nz?

Yes. Moreweb NZ is on the accredited-registrar list Domain Name Commission publishes, read on 2026-09-29. Accreditation means the registry permits it to sell the namespace; it does not by itself mean the registrar retails .nz to the public, which is what the storefront read establishes.

What does Moreweb NZ charge for a .nz domain?

Has this site tested Moreweb NZ?

No. We have run no support test, no transfer test and no uptime measurement on Moreweb NZ, so it carries no score and appears in no quality ranking. The .nz ranking on the New Zealand page orders registrars by one printed price only.
