PTisp

.pt registrar in Portugal, read from its own storefront on 2026-10-20

Accredited by DNS.PT

Can a member of the public buy a .pt here?

Its own page offers .pt through a Portuguese storefront, but on 2026-10-20 it printed no .pt price with its VAT treatment that this site could read, so it is listed on the Portugal page as read and not ranked.

Why it is not ranked

The page prints .pt at 3.99€ /ano but states no tax treatment, so it cannot be set beside the VAT-inclusive prices.

What its page printed

".pt 1 anos 3.99 €"; "3.99€ /ano"; the only IVA wording on the page ("18.50€+IVA/ano") belongs to hosting plans.

Read from https://ptisp.pt/domains/TLDs on 2026-10-20. A storefront read establishes the language, the currency and the figure the page printed that day. It does not establish support quality, uptime or what a renewal will cost next year.

How the Portugal storefronts were read

Eleven storefronts from DNS.PT's list of 108 registrars (seven pages, read in full on 2026-09-29) plus Hostinger's Portuguese storefront were opened in a real browser. PTisp returned HTTP 502, and dominios.pt, Webtuga and Lusoaloja printed no .pt price; PTServidor and WebHS print prices beside an IVA switch whose state is not stated. Three pages printed a .pt price in euros with its tax treatment, all excluding IVA. On 2026-10-15 the remaining 85 registrars on DNS.PT's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 75 were read, 10 could not be, and 1 more prints a comparable .pt price. On 2026-10-20 the 11 storefronts that could not be read were opened again in a browser that waits longer for pages built by script, reads framed pages and follows a redirect from plain http to https: 4 were read this time, 7 still could not be, and none of those read prints a comparable .pt price.

FAQ

Is PTisp accredited to sell .pt?
Yes. PTisp is on the accredited-registrar list DNS.PT publishes, read on 2026-09-29. Accreditation means the registry permits it to sell the namespace; it does not by itself mean the registrar retails .pt to the public, which is what the storefront read establishes.
What does PTisp charge for a .pt domain?
Its page offers .pt, but on 2026-10-20 it printed no .pt price with its VAT treatment that this site could read: The page prints .pt at 3.99€ /ano but states no tax treatment, so it cannot be set beside the VAT-inclusive prices.
Has this site tested PTisp?
No. We have run no support test, no transfer test and no uptime measurement on PTisp, so it carries no score and appears in no quality ranking. The .pt ranking on the Portugal page orders registrars by one printed price only.
