Zooku

.ro registrar in Romania, read from its own storefront on 2026-09-29

Can a member of the public buy a .ro here?

Its own page offers .ro through a Romanian storefront, but on 2026-09-29 it printed no .ro price with its VAT treatment that this site could read, so it is listed on the Romania page as read and not ranked.

Why it is not ranked

Priced in euros, not in Romanian lei: the page prints the .ro price in EUR (6.49 euro).

What its page printed

".ro ... 6.49 euro"

Read from https://www.zooku.ro/ on 2026-09-29. A storefront read establishes the language, the currency and the figure the page printed that day. It does not establish support quality, uptime or what a renewal will cost next year.

How the Romania storefronts were read

Ten Romanian registrars from RoTLD's list of 210 partners were opened on 2026-09-29; nine answered and all of them price .ro in euros (6.49 to 15 EUR a year), with lei used only at payment at the BNR rate, so none has a price in RON and none is ranked. RoTLD's own price page also prints "12 EUR + TVA pe an". ROMARG answered with server errors, and Hostinger's Romanian page prices in euros too. On 2026-10-15 the remaining 200 registrars on RoTLD's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 171 were read, 29 could not be, and 3 more print a comparable .ro price.

FAQ

Is Zooku accredited to sell .ro?

Yes. Zooku is on the accredited-registrar list RoTLD publishes, read on 2026-09-29. Accreditation means the registry permits it to sell the namespace; it does not by itself mean the registrar retails .ro to the public, which is what the storefront read establishes.

What does Zooku charge for a .ro domain?

Its page offers .ro, but on 2026-09-29 it printed no .ro price with its VAT treatment that this site could read: Priced in euros, not in Romanian lei: the page prints the .ro price in EUR (6.49 euro).

Has this site tested Zooku?

No. We have run no support test, no transfer test and no uptime measurement on Zooku, so it carries no score and appears in no quality ranking. The .ro ranking on the Romania page orders registrars by one printed price only.
