How the United Arab Emirates storefronts were read

Ten storefronts from the .aeDA accredited registrar list (TDRA page, read today) were opened: the seven UAE local registrars plus Dreamscape (Crazy Domains UAE), Dynadot and Name.com. AEserver and tasjeel.ae print .ae in dirhams with VAT stated as excluded; e& (nic.ae) prints AED 150 with no tax wording; Gate Hills and Dynadot price in US dollars. du rendered no content, Buzinessware rendered no text, Crazy Domains returned a 403 bot wall and GoDaddy's UAE site (not on the list) returned 403. On 2026-10-14 the remaining 16 registrars on .aeDA's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 15 were read, 1 could not be, and 0 more print a comparable .ae price.
