Can a member of the public buy a .fr here?

Its own page offers .fr through a German storefront, but on 2026-10-15 it printed no .fr price with its VAT treatment that this site could read, so it is listed on the France page as read and not ranked.

Why it is not ranked

.fr appears on the pages read, but no figure in EUR is printed beside it.

What its page printed

Homepage "Willkommen bei Key-Systems! - Key-Systems GmbH"; followed its "domaindiscount24" link. .fr appears: "Bei domaindiscount24 können Sie aus mehr als 1.000 Endungen für Ihre Wunschdomain auswählen. Neben Länderkürzeln wie .de, .at, .fr, .uk und .nl…"; no EUR figure within two lines of it.

Read from https://www.key-systems.net/produkte/mit-domaindiscount24-einfach-ihre-website-erstellen/ on 2026-10-15. A storefront read establishes the language, the currency and the figure the page printed that day. It does not establish support quality, uptime or what a renewal will cost next year.

How the France storefronts were read

Eleven storefronts drawn from Afnic's directory of 333 accredited registrars (read from the directory page's own embedded data on 2026-09-29) were opened in a real browser. GoDaddy returned HTTP 403, and the IONOS, Infomaniak and Nordnet pages printed no .fr price. Seven pages printed a .fr price in euros with its tax treatment, most of them HT (excluding VAT), and five of those show a discounted first year beside a higher regular or renewal price. On 2026-10-15 the remaining 142 registrars on AFNIC's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 127 were read, 15 could not be, and 7 more print a comparable .fr price.

FAQ

Is KEY-SYSTEMS GmbH accredited to sell .fr?
Yes. KEY-SYSTEMS GmbH is on the accredited-registrar list Afnic publishes, read on 2026-09-29. Accreditation means the registry permits it to sell the namespace; it does not by itself mean the registrar retails .fr to the public, which is what the storefront read establishes.
What does KEY-SYSTEMS GmbH charge for a .fr domain?
Its page offers .fr, but on 2026-10-15 it printed no .fr price with its VAT treatment that this site could read: .fr appears on the pages read, but no figure in EUR is printed beside it.
Has this site tested KEY-SYSTEMS GmbH?
No. We have run no support test, no transfer test and no uptime measurement on KEY-SYSTEMS GmbH, so it carries no score and appears in no quality ranking. The .fr ranking on the France page orders registrars by one printed price only.
