Can a member of the public buy a .nz here?

Not established. .nz was not among the namespaces on the page read on 2026-10-14. That is a fact about the page we read, not a finding that the registrar does not sell it.

Why it is not ranked

A corporate, brand-protection or wholesale registrar: the pages read sell no .nz to the public at a printed price.

Namespaces on its own page

No namespace list could be read from the page.

What its page printed

"Willkommen bei Key-Systems!": a wholesale registrar; retail runs through domaindiscount24, no .nz price here.

Read from https://www.key-systems.net/ on 2026-10-14. A storefront read establishes the language, the currency and the figure the page printed that day. It does not establish support quality, uptime or what a renewal will cost next year.

How the New Zealand storefronts were read

The DNC list of .nz authorised registrars (42 names) was read on 2026-09-29, and 11 storefronts from it were opened. Crazy Domains returned a bot wall, Moreweb 502, and Kiwi Internet 404 then a timeout; 123 Internet, Website World and Affordable Domains printed no .nz figure, and Porkbun showed a bare "$". Four stores print a standing .nz price in New Zealand dollars excluding 15% GST. On 2026-10-14 the remaining 29 registrars on DNC's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 28 were read, 1 could not be, and 0 more print a comparable .nz price.
