How the Kenya storefronts were read

KeNIC's list of licensed registrars (126 names, read in full after its lazy loading finished) was read on 2026-09-29, and eight Kenyan storefronts from it were opened and read again for .co.ke, the namespace Kenyan stores price. Whogohost returned 502 and Host Pro a bot wall, and Safaricom printed no .co.ke figure. Truehost and hosting.com print .co.ke in shillings without VAT wording, so HostPinnacle and HostAfrica, which state prices excluding 16% VAT, are ranked. On 2026-10-15 the remaining 114 registrars on KeNIC's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 89 were read, 25 could not be, and 2 more print a comparable .co.ke price.
