How the Slovakia storefronts were read

Nine Slovak retail registrars from SK-NIC's list of 2,351 registrars plus Gandi and Hostinger's Slovak page were read on 2026-09-29; eight print a .sk price with DPH (VAT) wording and are ranked. Most sell .sk with a first-year discount and renewals between 10,60 EUR without DPH and 21,40 EUR with DPH. VEDOS's Slovak page does not name .sk beside a price, and Gandi prices for France. On 2026-10-15 the remaining 928 registrars on SK-NIC's list that publish a website were opened, so every registrar on the list with a published website has now been tried: 669 were read, 259 could not be, and 13 more print a comparable .sk price. On 2026-10-20 the 259 storefronts that could not be read were opened again in a browser that waits longer for pages built by script, reads framed pages and follows a redirect from plain http to https: 96 were read this time, 163 still could not be, and none of those read prints a comparable .sk price.
